Sister-Ship Seven Seas Voyager Still Wins Raves
For Innovative "On A Classical Note"  Show

Ft. Lauderdale, FL., March 12, 2004 - Following the introduciton of the wildly successful PGT Entertainment operatic revue 'On A Classical Note" that premiered on the Seven Seas Voyager last year, Radisson Seven Seas Cruises today announced it has teamed up once again with the same producer to debut a new shipboard entertainment program aboard the 700-guest Seven Seas Mariner's March 26 cruise.

Inviting guests of the all-balcony suite vessel on musical journeys to accompany their luxury cruise, the three new show ("Beyond Imagination," "Here, There & Everywhere," and "Thoroughly Modern Broadway") draw creative inspiration from such long-running Broadway hits as Lord of the Dance and Chicago as well as the The Beatles' top-selling album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.

In the same spirit of innovation as "On A Classical Note," the new productions will feature ten performers in works that fuse cutting edge stagecraft technology and dramatic scenery, using inventive lighting design to achieve special effects.

On A Classical Note

In the launch of the 700-guest all-balcony suite Seven Seas Voyager in April 2004, shipboard entertainment reached a new high water mark.  In "On A Classical Note," wit and whimsy take the stage in the presentation of classic works of such master composers as Mozart, Verdi, Rossini and Puccini.  Performed as English subtitiles roll on a screen, the audience can enjoy the dramatic action unfolding on the stage.

Though lighter moments are captured in the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan with the Barber of Seville, it's the music of La Traviata, La Boheme and The Marriage of Figaro that allows for the realization of a night of Grand Opera.

Mariner's Curtain Calls

New to the Seven Seas Mariner, "Beyond Imagination" takes the audience on a contemporary musical romp through classical and traditional themes featuring music from Verdi's opera Aida, Beethoven's 9th Symphony and songs by Mendelssohn, Puccini and Copeland.  Classical arias are interspersed with traditional melodies, set into relief by a recreation of "Yesterday," the show follows the Fab Four's incredible career, from The Cavern in Liverpool to their history-making appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

"Thoroughly Modern Broadway" is an upbeat, foot-tapping creation built as a highly styled reflection on what's happening on the Great White Way today, drawing and interpreting musical vignettes from such shows as Fiddler On the Roof, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Chicago, Never Gonna Dance and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

The three new shows premiere on the Seven Seas Mariner's 14-night March 26 trans-canal voyage from Los Angeles to Ft. Lauderdale.  The ship then sails the reverse cruise before her Alaska season commences in May.

The Seven Seas Voyager is currently in Asia on her 94-night Grand Asia Pacific cruise.  She will spend the summer in the Mediterranean and Baltic.

Radisson Seven Seas Cruises was voted "Best Small-Ship Cruise Line" in Conde Nast Traveler's 2003 "Best in the World" Readers' Choice Awards.
